Kevin Bowles Chairman
I joined the local football club 30 years ago as a parent/volunteer at the U6 age group. Over the course of the following 2 seasons I took my first coaching qualifications. At U10 the squad was split to play 11 a side and I became manager/coach of the 2nd team with the players rejected for the 1st team. The 2nd team began in the bottom U10 division and progressed through the divisions to division 1 at U14. The team remained in division 1 until the team finished playing youth football at U18. I then managed/coached another team from u17 for the following 2 seasons.
During this time 1993/94 to 2007/08 I also became involved in the administration of the club and first became the disciplinary secretary and then combined this role with club secretary for 12 years. The club launched in 2008 a senior side providing players with continued football after U18 and I relinquished my roles with the youth part of the club. I became the seniors secretary, disciplinary secretary and fixtures secretary overseeing expansion into 3 senior sides and U18 floodlit.
Nathan Godfrey Manager/Sports Mental Health First Aider/GDPR Officer
I have multiple years playing from Academy level to Semi-Professional level.
I was previously 1st team Assistant Manager/Coach for a club at Step 6 (Semi-Professional).
2022/2023 Season I worked in the Pre Academy program at Stevenage Football Club as a goalkeeping coach.

Kemarr Salmon NHS Mental Health Worker Occupational Therapy Student
Assist players in adapting to life after their departure from the structured and high-Pressure environment of professional sport. Helping players to develop and refine various life skills that are crucial for their overall development and well-being. I collaborate with parents, educators and other professionals to create a supportive environment for young people. This collaboration is key in ensuring that the players receive support when needed addressing both their physical and emotional needs.
Marvin Bailey-Samuel Welfare Officer/Sports Mental Health Officer
I represent the Sports Mental Health Organization.
I have over 25yrs playing first team football up and down the football pyramid. I have been the first team manager at 3 clubs from step 6 to step 4, Assistant Manager/Coach step 4 as well as Player Coach at Borehamwood.

Neil Bitting Physical Welfare Adviser
Extensive experience in football at professional, semi - professional and grassroots levels.
He has held positions as the Lead Academy sports therapist at Cambridge United and as Sports Therapist at Royston Town FC, Biggleswade Town FC, Biggleswade Utd FC and Potton Town FC.
He was also a Regional Medical tutor with the FA delivering first aid courses to coaches in Clubs at all levels including Arsenal FC, Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Ipswich Town FC and QPR FC.
Although no longer operating as a pitch side therapist he is delighted to be part of the Balanced Minds FC management team in providing sports injury advice and general well being support for the benefit of young players at this exciting new club.
Michael Gray Manager/Coach/Sports Mental Heath First Aider
I was involved in Stevenage Borough EFCO as a youth player, I then went on to play semi professional football at different levels.
I have been coaching since the age of 16 and have 25 years experience of coaching at youth level.
I was also part of a management team at step 6 (semi professional)
part of my profession is coaching young people football and mentoring young people as a youth worker.
